Losing My Virginity by Richard Branson
Read by Natalie 2004
Natalie recommends for both amusing and amazing reading
This guy has had a really amazing life. He has built up and lost multi-million dollar companies several times over and is a fantastic example of determination and perseverance. Never willing to settle for second place, he famously took on and beat British Airways when he launched his Virgin airline in the UK. He seems to have his fingers stuck in just about every pie having sold records, airlines, credit cards, mobile phones etc, he even bought himself one of the Virgin Islands!
Click here for an interview with Richard Branson and review Richard's TED Profile where he highlights his adventures from ballooning across the Atlantic, floating down the Thames with the Sex Pistols, and has been knighted by the Queen. His megabrand, Virgin, is home to more than 250 companies, from gyms, gambling houses and bridal boutiques to fleets of planes, trains and limousines. The man even owns his own island.
